Runty and Big Mama
We raise a herd of purebred unregistered KuneKune pigs on our farm for meat for our family and lard for our goats milk soap. We had 3 litters of pigs this year on 7/22, 9/8, 9/21.
Our sows are raised on pasture with all our other animals in a menagerie style. They are right along side chickens, goats, sheep, cows, turkeys, and guinea hens. They’ve been fed milk soaked swine feed daily and always free choice on pasture. Plus all the house/garden scraps we can come up with.
These have been an amazing animal for our farmstead and would love to see it as part of yours as well.
